TRUE ANOMALY BREWING PLUS
The brewery got a major facelift a few years back, expanding its footprint to include a gorgeous indoor restaurant slinging brisket pizza and “fire emoji” wings, plus a giant, partially-covered beer garden with outdoor taps, yard games, and skyline views. Saint A’s sturdy selection of year-rounds and seasonals keep everyone coming back for more (and attending pub crawls around the city), while beer geeks are kept on their toes thanks to highly coveted specialty releases, including the barrel-aged Bishop’s Barrel and single-batch Divine Reserve series.

Inspired by a shared fascination with science, outer space, and the energy, history, and all-around awesomeness that is Houston, Texas, they set out to brew beers that are original, delicious, and just a little (or a lot) off the mean trajectory. Even if it wasn’t the most established in the biz, the 27-year-old hometown hero is easily Houston’s baddest, continuing to earn its spot among Lone Star bests. What started in the garage has grown into True Anomaly.

We believe dedication, experimentation, and calculated risks can take you further. True Anomaly Brewing is open Monday from 12pm to 10pm, Tuesday through Friday from. The taproom serves up an array of delicious beers, including IPAs and fruit beers. They just ask that you keep your pooch on a leash at the brewery. You can’t talk about Houston breweries without mentioning the patron saint of craft suds, Saint Arnold. True Anomaly is a brewery for people who do things differently, a launchpad for fermented exploration. This neighborhood brewery and taproom allows dogs to join their owners inside and out, as no food is prepared on the premises.
