Location: Ula’ula Island – Geothermal Power Plant. Use: More effective at catching Pokemon encountered with a fishing rod. Locations: Melemele Island, Hau’oli City – Talk to the man standing to the left of the Pokemon Center entrance doors. Use: Basic Poke Ball that heals and removes Status ailments from captured Pokemon. No matter what, it’s always good to have plenty of Pokeballs, and many are available totally free if you’re willing to explore the environment. There are tons of different types of Pokeballs designed to capture different types of Pokemon, or to work better in certain environments. A captured Pokemon will join your team, or be put into storage if your team is full. Pokeballs are used to capture Pokemon - when a Pokemon is sufficiently weakened in battle, select a Pokeball to throw from your inventory to attempt to capture them. Pokeballs are the bread and butter of any Pokemon game.
